12+ years gathering insights into audience behaviors, needs, preferences, and pain points.


As Content Marketer for The Rachel Cruze Show podcast, I developed a listener survey to gather direct audience insight. We then scheduled 15-minute calls with respondents who were open to sharing more detailed feedback. This gave us a much deeper understanding of our listeners than survey data alone could provide, including clearer insight into their pain points, preferences, and expectations. I took extensive notes during this stage, then later distilled them into the most relevant findings and recommendations to present to the Brand Director and Rachel Cruze.

By the end of the process, we had a clear view of what was resonating, what was falling flat, and what the audience wanted more of.

That insight directly informed several strategic decisions, including:

  • expanding the podcast from a biweekly to a weekly format

  • developing new segments

  • passing on guest interviews that did not align with listener interest
